These sculptures are crafted to explore the possibilities of repurposing discarded human-made objects. The sculptures, fashioned from copper, wood and rope take on the form of an insect and is sat atop a charred piece of wood. This depiction speaks to the creature’s ability to adapt to new and challenging environments. It also serves as a poignant reminder of the current environmental challenges we face and their effect on the tiny creatures that are critical to our planet’s evolution.

Edward plans to make 8 copper sculptures with similar materials and themes.
