My studio doors were open in June for North Devon’s Art Trek. The deterring weather didn’t stop people visiting the hay loft studio with over 20 visitor in all. They were able to take a look at the most recent paintings I made from the Braunton Burrows Walk and views across Codden Hill in North Devon.

The public were also shown my current project, the Mariner’s Way Walk -which has unfortunately been delayed until 2012- and seeing the beginnings of the sculptural installation (made from Tarred Marlin) I plan on making throughout 2011 and into 2012.

Here are some brief comments people left:

“Beautiful paintings and Rope! Can’t wait to see the sculpture” -Christine Leggett

“Beautiful work, we’ll be back!” – Mark, Donna & Alex

“Great ideas, nice to see a progressive work” – David Spencer
